I'm worried about the hurricanes/rain. Trying to plan my one year anniversary vacation.

St.Lucia/Puerto Rico/Mexico girls...

Did you get advice from a travel agent or anyone else that the weather is generally ok here if no hurricanes? I just don't want to spend a fortune and spend a week in the rain, lol.

We're going to Mexico, but we'll be on the pacific side. Yes, we're going during the tail end of their rainy season, but at least no hurricanes. When I look at the forecast is says scattered thunderstorm everyday, but I've been there before and even when it rains, it rains for like 20 minutes and then stops. Not to mention it helps to cool things off, the forecast calls for 90 degrees and higher every day.

Instead of doing something in the Carribean, or surrounding areas, why don't you go to Vegas?

FH looked up weather patterns for where we are going.
ususally,Huricane season is winding down by now & it is worse near the Florida keys than it is near,st.lucia,etc.

We exepected late afternoon rain, but that always happens in Florida too, most of the year,and then it stops & you move on with your day.
I am mostly concerned with flying from NY to PR.
