So I just called my florist to find out when I can see a sample

of my bo-ks and centerpiece. My centerpieces are tulips and I was told that they come back into season in October, so I would have to wait until then to see a sample.

Thats fine. But I just called and asked if they were in yet and she tells me they come back in December

I'm like well my wedding is the end of November, she goes well its a possibility then..

Excuse ME!!!! There is NO possibility...I'M HAVING TULIPS!!!!!!!!!

My heart is sooo set on having tulips. I hope this is isn't true...They guy that does weddings is supposed to call me back, hopefully he knows something she doesn't

i'm sure they will get them for you..sometimes if you don't know the answer you should just keep your mouth shut right..i can't stand when people cause you unnecessary stress.i'm sure the guy will clear it all up for you..stay positive.

Who is your florist?

Most florists will have flowers shipped in from wherever they are in season. I don't see why you can't have tulips! I'd demand a guarantee in writing.

Its in my contract to have tulips. He didn't say anything about not being able to have them, just that I would have to wait to see a sample.

I think (hoping) this woman just didn't know.

I am sure they can find a way to get them for you. You just might need to be prepared to pay a little more. Good luck!

Did you put tullips in the contract?

Cause if they are in the contract... than they MUST be there on your wedding!

I feel for you. I had the same problem for my wedding - I had asked of purple Lilacs with roses. They told me no problem but it would be more $$ (my package had included all roses but I really wanted lilacs.) Then, a couple of weeks before the wedding they said they couldn't get them because of the rainy spring. I was so angry, and so sad. We went over and they went through a bunch of other options that I could substitute (but of course nothing was what I wanted because I wanted lilacs.) Well, I was so happy when they called me back a few days later and said they were flying them in from Holland. So, I am sure they can get them and it will all work out- they will just have to work a little harder - and it's IN your contract!!
