Is anyone whose wedding is coming up losing weight without trying?

With about a month and a half to go, I started losing weight without trying (losing appetite!). And having this nervous feeling in my stomach...Sometimes waking up during the night, nervous...Anyone else go through or going through this?

Trying to lose weight, been eating healthy, exercising more.

However, since the invites have gone out I have been getting a bit anxious and my appetite is dwidling. For lunch I packed a turkey sandwich, apple sauce and a pear. I was able to eat half of the sandwich and that's it.

Make sure you at least take vitamins to keep from getting sick.

It is happening to me. I have lost 10lbs in the past couple of weeks. I needed too though. I was 130 when I ordered my dress and was up to 145. Now I am around 135 but I know I am going to loose more without even trying. I constantly have this feeling in my stomach and I cant really eat cuz I am not hungry? It is defiantely NERVES.

My wedding is far away but I have had weight just falling off lately. I just have no appetite and am so tired. My sis wants me to get a physical -- wonders if I am anemic (sp?) but I totally relate.

I am getting married on Nov 20. I am having my first fitting tonight. I kept having dreams that my dress wouldn't fit!!!

OH god how I wish!! I've been losing a little weight, but I've been trying HARD!! In fact, I just pushed back my first fitting yet again, hoping for more time to shed pounds!!

Yes, with the wedding less than 20 days away I find that I'm not particularly hungry and when I am I don't eat much. I hope my dress still fits like a glove on the day of.

I kept saying when am I going to get nervous and start losing, and then all of a sudden it hit me!!!! I lost 10 lbs already and my dress was a size 6 so it wasn't big to begin with!

I've lost a lot of weight over the past 8 months or so and I haven't really tried all that hard. I'm nervous to lose too much before the wedding, so I've been eating whatever I want. When I rodered my gown I was about 131 pounds, now I'm about 114.

yes! Well I run 2 miles everday so I am sure that is helping... but when I went home this weekend everyone kept on saying I looked like I lost weight... I also think it is due to the fact that I recently moved out of my house so I don't have mom's cooking anymore... I was kind of happy to loose a few pounds b/c it made my dress feel more comfortable at the 2nd fitting...

It happened to me too and I was only the MOB. It's not happening as much with my son's wedding next month. I don't have the same responsibilities or long list of have-to-do's. I think it's really the fewer sleep hours that cause it.

Be careful girls. The same thing happened to me and my last fitting was about 2 weeks before the wedding and needless to say on the day of my dress which had fit perfectly was falling off. Just something to think of if the nerves really get to your waistline!

My mom told me this would probably happen since she lost a lot of weight right before her wedding....

I tend to eat when i'm stressed though, so I will probably have the opposite effect

I had a similar problem and I wasn't trying to lose weight. But everytime I went for my fitting they kept having to take it in more. The woman said stress usually makes you lose weight. Don't worry you'll gain it all back on the honeymoon!

Yep...I am losing weight like crazy! I went for my fitting and the seamstress yelled at me (jokingly of course) because she has to redo parts of the dress. Its from stress and running around like a crazy person LOL

I lost about 8 pounds

. Luckily, I had my dress fitted tight, and kept going for fitting up until the final week. It is so much pressure, none of my friends who were not married, understood, why I nearly loose my mind-not to mention the wieght. Talk about stress
