Meeting with photographer tomorrow
What questions should I ask? I'm already bringing a must take/do not take photo and video list. Are there different types of film I should know about? I want to make sure I cover all the details.

Re: Meeting with photographer tomorrow
1) if you plan on enlarging some photos then you should def inquire on what kind of film the photographer will be using. reg 35mm film won't cut it when having photo(s) enlarged. it may look slightly grainy.2) ask about how many dvds/videos you can get from vendor (although, you can make a copy of hte dvd yourself by using your comp).
3) ask about how many thank you cards you can get.
4) parent albums.
5) what type of album - the album choices they may have can vary in size, fabric cover (leather or fabric and color), can carry X amount of photos.
6) how many pictures can the photo album hold? all brides would love to jam as many beautiful photos as possible but keep in mind, too many pictures in one page may take away the size quality. you don't want them to be tiny to look at.
7) Proofs - can you keep these proofs?
8) when can you get the negatives or cd of hte photos? there may be a cost for the negatives if you want them early. if you can wait then great. this might cost you nothing. teh photographer tend to give the negatives to you when they're overloaded. this may take several years so be sure to give them your updated contact info.
9) when will the layout of the photos onto an album be done?
10) when can you recieve the finish versions of your merchandise?
11) do you want your photo/videogrpher to be present for your 'getting ready shots?'
12) talk about punctuality.
13) overtime fee?
14) gratuity included?
15) get photo / videographers' cell phone numbers. very important when organizing.
16) tell them what kind of photos you prefer. journalistic or posed. both or more so journalistic...
17) how long will your video be? and could you possibly keep the unedited version?
hmmmm.. i hope i'm not forgetting anything here.. and always haggle! they expect it!
good luck!
