I'm not (a winter bride)...But if I was (or if I was wearing gloves) I would keep them on during the ceremony...

Re: Winter Brides - with strapless dresses...

No gloves for me - they didn't look good on my chubby arms . Just gonna prayI don't freeze my fingers/arms off!

I'm actually looking for a fur stole/shawl to use

I've been looking for one too - but to no avail - there are a lot of ugly ones out there though

Im thinking of getting a fur coat...at the suggestion of my fiance....would be a nice classy touch...if your against fur maybe a velvet coat would be nice too

My aunt made it for me.....we got that fabric at the fabric mill & found a pattern that we liked. It took her about 1 month to assemble it

I say go faux fur if yuo are anit-fur...velvet tends to attract a lot of lint & if the GM are wearing wool tuxes it will be all over th velvet.

Re: Winter Brides - with strapless dresses...

I'm considering wearing gloves. I would take them off for the ceremony, though. Otherwise, wouldn't you have to stop and take off the gloves in order to exchange rings?
