I am tossing around In My Life by the Beatles to dance with both my brothers since my Dad is deceased.
Here are the lyrics (they work SO much better when you listen with the music)

I have been flip flopping about this too. I was thinking of the original, slower version of "Lean on Me". I don't want anything too emotional though, I wouldn't be able to handle it.

I love this song! I was going to suggest the same but the Providence TV theme version sung by a woman (Chantal Kervusiak -sp???)

Please don't laugh, but I really want to dance w/ my brothers to "Sister Christian" by Night Ranger. My brother used to sing it to me when we were little and I couldn't sleep...it has so much sentimental meaning to me but I'm not sure how it would go over...

me & my brother wanted beat it by michael jackson or jump by van halen bc we used to dance to it when we were little (mom nixed it).
