JT is starting my coctail hour at 11:45 -- to early???

I am NOT happy about it, but I really wanted the date (May 21, 2005) so I agreed to it. Should I see if I can get it changed? 15 Minutes doesn't seem like much, but it's just weird to me having a cocktail hour that technically starts in the morning, ya know? They claim they're "staggering" my wedding with another affair. My wedding starts at 10am (if it starts on time) so my window of time is really narrow. Opinions please! Thanks. Blessings!

if you really want the date, stick to it. i would just make sure the food that you pick for the CH isnt very heavy, you know/? just be conscience of the menu! youll be fine!

Mine's starting at 12, and I didn't even think twice about it. Hey, by the time they actually get, and take a sip of, their first drink, it probably will be noon!

I think 11:45 cocktail hour is fine. Maybe think of it as brunch if it really bothers you. I have about the same schedule as you. I doubt people will even think of it...after all they would have had quite a decently eventfull day by the time 11:45 rolls around.
