remember the new date who came to stay with me from upstate...

well even tho i had a great time when he came to visit i posted b4 that i was very confused about my feelings for him, we talk everyday and i do miss him but im not sure if im feeling 'more then friend feelings for him' i feel like that sexual spark of i just wanna rip ur clothes off is kinda missing'..so make a long story short he calls me at noon and said do u have plans for dinner? and i said no and hes driving 3 hrs from upstate to take me to dinner, i m panicking, i dont know if i feel happy or not b/c im so confused on what i feel for him when he obviously is being soooo sweet to drive all that way back and forth in one nite just to take me out..i dont like leading pple on but i def. need to c him again to gage my feelings.. is it wrong to keep talking/seeing him when i dont know what i m feeling??

btw im wearing the poncho on this date now lol..he hasnt seen it yet--the poncho sure is coming in handy

Maybee you need to get to know him and then the sparks will fly.

I don't know Michelle - I didnt have the sex spark from day 1 with my DH. I think its different with everyone - Just go and enjoy yourself.

Let him take you out. You might feel different when you see him.

Plus it's not like you asked him to come to see you. He asked what you were doing and you said nothing and he volunteered to drive down.

Just go out and have fun and if the spark sparks, great and if not, don't feel bad.

I think the more you get to know him, you might develop that 'sex spark'. You have not spent that much time with him, give it a few more dates...who knows, that spark could show up at any time

Re: remember the new date who came to stay with me from upstate...

Ughhhh! Don't you just hate it when you have a wonderful guy right before your eyes who seems perfect in every way possible and seems to worship you, but you just dont feel that 'spark' That happened to me more times than I'd care to remember in my long ago dating past

HE certainly sounds like a sweetie and you DID have fun with him... so just go out and have fun, don't focus on the spark just yet. As the other ladies said, you didn't ask him to drive all this way, he wanted to.

DLWDLG makes a great point also - you were still thinking of the '1st date' and all that unresolved stuff when your '2nd date' plans had already made, so this could have subconciously clouded your view of him

Try to keep an open mind. Though I will say this much -- I happen to be a pretty big believer that sparks start flying fairly soon into a situation. So if there isn't ANY sparks tonight or perhaps one more time thereafter, I would have to say that he might be more 'friend' material .

Not necessarily .. I think as you get to know him they may develop ... I am one to believe the better you know the person, the more spark should develop, not the other way around ...

Not at ALL!! The 'spark' can be a zillion times better if you 'grow' it instead of it just popping. That's how it was for me & my FH anyway. At first - I was like .. eh. But now ?? Look out!

In my experience the ones that 'pop' right away -- don't seem to last very long. You're so into the spark you don't see the flaws until its too late!
