Second Major Wedding issue in TWO months!!!!!

As is the first problem weren't enough, now I am back to the drawing board on BM dresses!!!!! I thought I had the dress picked out (it was a Bill Levkoff dress with cap sleeves and a lace up back) After examining a picture of 'average' girls wearing the dress, I am no longer crazy about it (I think it looks awkward on in the picture of these girls.) I am getting married in 9 mos and feel like I am cutting it way close here with the BM dresses! I really didn't feel like looking again since it was hard enough to get everyone to agree on this one!!!!!

I still haven't bought mine. The Bridal salons say you need 5 months for BM dresses (including alterations). I am getting Bill Levkoff as well. Don't worry about it you have time to decide

For my friends wedding we didn't get our BM gowns until like 5-6 months before and they came in really fast... don't worry- you still have time!

Do you have a pic of the dress? I'm curious to see it!

I think I know which dress you are talking about. I actually chose a dress from there and everyone (different shapes and sizes) loves it and we finally ordered them. Check out his website below and click on style 652. I am getting them in green with champaigne trimming. They are REALLY pretty in person and flattering on everyone.

This is the dress- the cap sleeve falls funny in the pick I have of girls in it . . . I don't know if it is a bride's BP on here and I don't want to offend, so I don't want to post the pic- It just looks like the dresses don't lay right . . .

Okay, well if everyone promises not to get offended if it is their BP, or people they know, here is the other pic (again it is just my opinion . . .):

I guess it seems like I am panicking, but to me this is a big deal since no one can agree on a dress . . .

Don't worry, I'm a little more than 9 months away and still haven't gotten mine either. It only takes about 4 months for BM dresses to come in so you have a couple of months to find another one. Good luck!

Oh man, I'm so behind I haven't even looked at BM dresses yet and I'm 10 months away! I wouldn't worry about it if I were you. Maybe if you chose something with a more flattering waist line but similar to what you had wanted it would look nicer? A line works for most women.

I think the color white also throws everything off in that pic...maybe if you pick a color, it will look better.

I personally like them. The sleeves are really cute!!
