don't worry, i'd never do that, but even I can't support the red sox when they are THIS embarrassing

even the mets weren't THIS bad when they played the Yanks in 200)

Actually Don I always though the Mets played VERY well vs the Yanks in the subway series of 2000. THey were great games IMO

I am totally shocked at how poorly the Sox are doing this time. They aren't even making this series remotely interesting. There was some back and forth earlier on tonight, then the Yanks blew it open .

The Sox totally burnt thru their pitching staff. The stadium is 3/4 empty. This SO does not have the feel of a post season Sox/Yanks game

I'm off to bed as soon as this game blissfully ends. G'nite all !!

I SOOOO agree...I rooted for the Mets during Playoffs in that series...I am a NEW YORKER, wanted a Subways Series...this match up was not the excitement I anticipated (yet Im happy)....

the problem i have is this and i've said this before

every year the sox get beat and every year they shoot their mouths off and say, 'We'll get em next time' Then they spend all sorts of money on talent and play very well during the season and make you think that this year may be the year.

Then they get into the playoffs and get the team they've wanted revenge on all season, the team they beat 11 out of 19 times...and they DIE!

What's worse is that their ace comes on TV and makes a dumb comment about the Yankees being his daddy. Like you need to give the Yankee faithful more ammo to think up dumb chants.

The Sox beat themselves psychologically every year BEFORE the playoffs with all this curse nonsense.

I don't even wanna hear them anymore..I am done.

Can I say that part of the Red Sox' problem is leadership. They have no real leadership. They are a bunch of good players with hardly anything holding them together. I just think it's wrong when the team seems to call all of the shots. Someone else needs to be organizing their team. They definitely have not found that person yet. Not that I care, though!

They will learn tommorow or I'll even say maybe Monday, but within the next few days!
