money question am i crazy???

i don't have any money to spend because of the wedding and the new co op but for some odd reason i keep buying things..do you think i am subconsiously doing it so that i have excess stress every month when the bills come..i'm charging more now then ever and i can't seem to pinpoint why.. any thoughts?

Maybe you are not yet used to all your new bills and not that your spending like crazy but you are spending like you used to. It takes awhile to get adjusted.

I think sometime we say 'F-it, I have no money anyway, what's another couple of hundred on the credit card' ... I know I'm guilty of that, when I feel overwhelmed ... it's a bad road to go down though, find something satisfying (besides shopping) to get your mind off the bills!

i agree to both of your thoughts..i'm definitely not accustomed to say 'i can't have that because i don't have the money' so that's hard to deal with and i also say 'hey my cc is already up to who knows what so what's another 100 going to do.' arrrggghhh i'm very frustrated..thanks for listening

i read something somewhere, i wish i could remember the name of it...but there is a psychological phenomenon where people subconsciously do things to themselves that they know are wrong...almost like they are trying to sabotage themselves before someone else does - does that make sense? LOL
