Need a great GREEK band and DJ!!

OK, my fellow Greek brides, past and present, who do you guys reccomend?? Music is the most important thing for me!!!!! I think I want both a band (small) and DJ. Please help! Thanks!!!

You must talk to Junebride04 (I think is her screen name) -- you will know her from her incredible photos, which if I am not mistaken, are also from North Ritz. As memory serves, she posted about Greek bands. Another North Ritz bride for you to FM is AttiqaQT who I think may have advice. Good luck!

I'm using Delta for my wedding in May, they played at FBIL wedding in June & they were incredible! They also come with a DJ to play American music. The contact person is Nick Zolotas & the phone # is 800-945-9097, LImom's daughter also used them & were very happy with them.

Also, you should check the Greek Brides thread on the '04 board, we discussed various different bands there.

Im having Power Station for the band and a separate DJ. But they come with a DJ . The band comes with different singers you can choose from. They playat Remy every Saturday night if you want to hear them. The contact # is Chris-718-357-0414.

I'm not Greek, but my DJ company specializes in Greek affairs. My MC is a personal friend of mine, and he is ALWAYS telling me about all the Greek affairs he does.

Anyway, they're Bravo Sound, and they are really fantastic. The price was right on, they did a GREAT job at my wedding, and they are owned by Greeks.

We're having the VIPS they also come with a DJ service. I really liked Bravo sounds for a DJ as well.

We are using Mylos. They are awesome. They also come with a DJ service. I am using both band and DJ so we'll have 50/50 on the music. If you want more info FM me. They are based out of Astoria.

Call Bravo Sounds International in Astoria- they have all the greek stuff and know what to play.
We are using them and have been to events were they have played. They ae awesome
Also, I have heard good things about Fantasia s well ( band wise)

bravo sounds is a great dj! I've heard them on several occasions and we are having them at our wedding

They have done 2 family weddings for us and both were mired with stupidity on their part. Very stressful and def not needed on a wedding day. Will never use them again

I'm using the apollo orchestra with lefteris bournias. Very easy to deal with and very energetic at weddings. FM me for more info.

IM using Golder Greeks with George Rabos.He is such a nice guy. Basically he can put together anyone you want.. if u have someone speciaifc in mind.. if not he tells u his thoughts an feedack.We booked Koutra and Rena with Kardami, Rabo, I forgot the name of the bouzouki player but we also got violi and clarino. I foret their names, FFIL knows them.
