WHEN IS THE RIGHT TIME TO TTC?

When did everyone TTC after they got married? I was married May 29, 2004 and I just came off the BC and are waiting for several normal cycles before trying. But is it to soon??

You are the only one who knows when its the right time to TTC. If you feel you are ready and you DH feels the same then go for it!!!!

I waited about 4 months after coming off BC.

ETA - and we waited 9 months until after we were married to TTC. It is a personal decision. A lot of people will say to wait at least a year, but in our situation we lived together for 2 years before we were even married. So we were anxious to start a family sooner.

I agree...every couple is different. I came off BC right after the wedding to start getting regular and then we stopped using condoms a week ago. DH and I agreed that OCT/NOV was when we wanted to start trying, and we were married in March.

We started trying right around the 1 yr anniversary, a little before it. We wanted to wait til we were in a house, which we bought in July. Plus we lived together for over a year before we got married and we just felt ready. Plus I have always wanted to have a baby before I am 30...and I am 27 now!

We got married 9-27-02 but we knew we had a few moves a head of us.
We got settled in our home this Spring and I went off the pill 1 month before our 2nd Wedding Anniversary. By our second anniversary we had the good news we were pregnant.

School loans are paid, we are in our house, we had two years to ourseleves, we are both 25 and since we live in Florida now I didn't want to carry in the hot summer. So as of right now our plan is working perfectly because I deliever in May.

We waited 2 years to TTC. I wanted to travel with my DH before we started a family. I also wanted to have a baby before I was 30 (I'm 28 now). Just talk it over...and from taking the advice of other LIW women...'You're never ready'

We waited 8 months to TTC. We knew we were moving to Ireland (for 18 months) right after the wedding and wanted to travel around Europe before having a baby. If we would have stayed in the states we probably would have waited only 2 months, I think if you are both ready, go for it!
