Re: Doe Anybody know a book publisher?

What kind of book. Who is it by. ( you, teachers, students, etc.)

Does it need distribution, or just to be published?

What is the audience?
Is there any moeny behind it?

Re: Doe Anybody know a book publisher?

You need a printer. How long is the book? Black ink or 4-color? Photos?Paperback or harcover?

There are a few printers on LI, but I am not sure what type of jobs they do.

Re: Doe Anybody know a book publisher?

Yes, there are some printers that will deal with individuals & small organizations. We used to use one in the Bronx for my univerity lit magazine.
I thikn we found them in the phonebook.

Is it formatted already?
If so, and depending on how you need it bound, a copy shop may be able to do it.

Is it a long booklet? Can it just be stapled?

Re: Doe Anybody know a book publisher?

Try staples or Kinkos. Maybe they can just bind it, or with those spiral things.

Re: Doe Anybody know a book publisher?

How long is it?

We've worked with Heart of the Lakes Publishing upstate--they do a lot of softcover volumes.

Depending on the size, you may be better off at Kinkos.
