New Hyde Park inn for engagement party????

Hi all,

My mother wants to give FH and I an engagement party, we have been to a few places, the one she liked was the new hyde park inn in new hyde park. Has anyone had a party there or tasted the food in their restaurant?
Or do you have any suggestion where else we could go, preferably in nassau county, about 80 people, room for a dj and dancing (we love to dance)

I have had a few office parties there and it's not bad... Of course we drank more than we ate, but all in all the food and service was good..
