OMG! Two of my BM gained too much weight!

SO they got measured a few months ago and then tried on the dresses yesterday to be altered and niether of them can shut the dress! Thank god my sister had extra fabric from her dress , but OMG I hope it is enough! I am freaking out that they won't be able to fix the dresses!

They can do wonders with alterations, do not worry...2 of my BMs couild not zipper their tops, and one they ordred an extra panel for, and the other one, they opened the whole thing, and then re-closed it and they were perfect...

Tell them to maybe try a corset underneath, too. This is such a huge fear of mine! (That it will happen to me, not my BMs, they're all freaking skinny!)

Good Idea..those body suckuing thins take off inches, you just might not be able to bend down comfortable....or sit confortably....

don't stress. I had one girl who gained A LOT of weight. Her dress ended up looking too tight on her, but no one even noticed.

That is also my fear I have gained weight and my dress was ordered too small to begin with I better stop eating like such a piggy

Wow!!! I never thought about this. I thought only the bride had to worry about weight gain/loss for the wedding. One friend lost 10 lbs before her wedding w/o trying. Nerves I guess. And I know of another woman who had to add panels to her wedding dress - she had their first child about 4 months after the wedding.

I wouldnt worry about it, they can alter the dress by adding in a panel or something...happened to my sister once. It does change the look of the dress but only a bit...nothign anyone would notice unless you knew about it!

Same here. The dress was a little snug when I got it, but naturally, I was like 'I'm going to lose weight anyway.' Well now, I can't get into it. I better lose weight!
