MY 10/17 REVIEW---EAST WIND COUNTRY GARDENS!!!

WOW, our whole day was absolutely AMAZING!!

East Wind Country Gardens--A+++

We loved every single second of it...East Wind has been very courteous and on point from the day we booked our wedding there, and they were outstanding at the big day, our Maitre d', John was AWESOME. He went above and beyond and was just so ni9ce and easy to deal with..I wanted the father/daughter, mother/son dances early, we did them early, etc etc etc....I cannot say enough great about him and East Wind in general.


Stretch Hummer--Sir Oliver--A+

I forget our drivers name, but he was awesome, he was a great driver, helped me getting in and out of there, helped me carry my train, etc etc...even at the church, he set the girls trains as they walked down the aisle and did the same for me...he was nice and courteous, on time, and on point.

Photos--ADA Studios----A+

Our photographer was Anthony, and he was amazing. I have not seen the photos yet, but he was always there, snapping away, cracking jokes and just being very nice and warm. I forget his assistants name, but he was awesome too...They were there for every shot, took care of my small must take photo list, and just had a ball...they were awesome.

AS far as the studios service for AFTER the wedding, its now over 3 weeks, and I called and asked when they were expected in and they said give it another 2 weeks or so, the lab is backed up because of the holidays…OK…My wedding was not during the Holidays, and how can she say that? I can see during Thanksgiving/Christmas, but not OCTOBER 17th…..thru November 8th…..

Flowers---Kim-Jon designs---A+

WOW. WOW. My Flowers were outrageous. My Bo-K was OUT OF THIS WORLD. I loved everything she did, the centerpieces, corsages, bouts, bo-ks, everything..she was the best...everyone complemented on how great they were, and I could not have asked for better,..we put our confidence in her and she came thru like a shining star!! WOW!


Hair/Makeup--Pampered By the Pond, Montauk----A+

Joanne was great, so nice to deal with, really put a ton of effort and was so excited about how everything came out..a perfectionist and my hair, my bridesmaids hair and my moms hair stayed all night...my bridesmaid and myself got our makeup done and it was awesome too....She truly made up feel like royalty, and she was awesome.
Church--St. Andrews, Sag Harbor C

The church was so unorganized, I had to keep calling and calling to make sure thins were all set…the Priest NEVER returned my calls, and they were just so unorganized during the rehearsal. They had some kind of volunteer there to show us how it would go…they wanted us sitting at the alter, backs to the whole church, I refused..I was not sitting in my dress for the duration of the ceremony…No way….plus this coordinator lady did not even know we were having a Rabbi, so everything she said was the way Father does it, but it was not just him…

Day Of…Priest and Rabbi were sposed to Co-officiate….Well, he barely said one word…he was sposed to do my MY vows, the Rabbi, FH’s vows, well he let her do it all…he was conferring with the Rabbi during the ceremony….obviously he was not prepared and was really USELESS. The KICKER: we had the unity candle to do…Well, he lit the tapers of it, but not the candles that are sposed to be lit (for us to light the tapers off of) So we did away with the unity candles ceremony, because what was he going to do? Blow them out and relight the other ones? I was soo aggravated….

Rabbi---Rabbi Renee Feller A+

She was GREAT!! THE BEST!! All the way from the first day we booked her until the day of, she was EXCELLENT!! She was so helpful, so personable and she wrote our ceremony to be catered to US…it was great…people cannot stop RAVING!!


Band----Vivian & the MerryMakers A+

I believe that no matter what, the music makes the party! And this band is AWESOME! They are a Steel Drum Band, and are just soo great….they had the dance floor packed all night!!! My family has used them for lots of parties, so they are familiar with us, but they never fail, they are always GREAT!! They even cued up the cds for us for our parent dances and first dance since they did not really sing them….This band is AMAZING!!!

Bachelorette Party---Il Capuccino A+

Food and service is always GREAT at this restaurant...I had pistaccio tortelloni...OMG its DELICIOUS!! We then all met the guys at a local dive bar, and the drinks for ME were on the bar tender for the night....WOW..it was so much fun...we were DANCING in this bar, there is no dance floor, etc..but we were feeling no pain!!

Thanks for the detailed review. Sorry that the priest wasn't up to par, but it sounds like it didn't really affect your day. You and your DH look very happy. Congrats!
