What to do when you go to see the florist for the first time?

Hey I'm an OOT bride and when I go home for Christmas I will go see florists.

So I'm gonna call and set up some appointments, but I'm kind of curious of what I should do or bring when I go there?

Bring a list of everything you need. Exact number of CP's and BM's etc.

Also bring pictures of things you like and a swatch from your dress and your girls dress if you have one.

Yes, the more you come with the better. Keep in mind florists are very visual so any pics you bring of styles and flower types you like are infinitely ore helpful than 'I like roses.' Bring pics from magazines, color swatches you like and a good sense of what you are looking for -- ie # tables, # bouqets, decor, etc.

Re: What to do when you go to see the florist for the first time?

Thanks for all of the advice. Right now I know I like hydrangeas and my Bridesmaid dresses are tealish (capri from Jim Hjelm). I can't think of a secondary color so I'm hoping the florist will help me out on this.
