OH MY GOD!!! I WON THIS BID AND NOW THE SELLER WONT ANSWER MY EMAILS AND IS NOT A REGISTERED USER ANYMORE BUT TOOK MY MONEY WHAT CAN I DO???

i bid on cameras and I paid using paypal and checked my account and it was taken out of the bank already

Ebay will fight the battle for you. THey have a form you can fill out indicated you were taken and they will go after the seller. FM me for specifics if needed.

Make sure you report it to Paypal too. They will try to get the money back for you.

I had a similar problem with ebay. I had paid through paypal and filed a complaint with both paypal AND ebay. How long ago did you order? Sometimes these vendors are a little slow. FM if you need more info

I had this happen to me once. Did you get their email address to get in touch with them directly? It took me 3 months for the seller to cough up what I bid on and it was only until I got ebay involved and told the seller I was going to the attorney generals office. Try it if you can.

Contact Paypal.. They are now your best friend. Since this person withdrew money they must be registered with a valid email address, home address and sometimes even a bank account of their own. Paypal is very good about security, so if you tell them you were a victim they will do everything to help you out. Best of luck!

You MUST file a claim immediately with Paypal. Go into your Paypal account and despute the purchase. I just bought a necklace (for a lot of money) and it came broken in two because of poor packaging and the seller said 'Too bad, you didn't take out insurance'. I filed a claim with Paypal and within two weeks the money was credited back into my account.

Paypal values their customers and will fight to get you back your money. They have the sellers credit card number so they can always take it out of their account.

don't be discouraged by ebay.....with the zillion things i have purchased I only got screwed once and if I had checked the feedback rating before I bid I probably would not have done it. After filing a complaint with ebay and paypal I guess the seller got the hint that I wasn't going away so he sent me the phone (after he smashed it to pieces of course). At that point I figured I'd take the loss and drop it....after which i found the same phone for half the price somewhere else. Don't give up...make sure you pursue it. It also is a federal crime so you can pursue that option too.

I got burned twice. What I did was file a fruad complaint against the seller directly on Ebay. Though I don't use paypal, only money orders, I got fast results.

When ever I bid on something, I keep a very long paper trail until I recieve my item. I print out the selling page with all the details concerning that sale. It may seem like alot of nonsense to keep a paper trail, but its the best thing (for me) in the long run.

Make a fruad complaint. Its worth the time and efforts to get your $$ back.
