Re: Renaissance in Aruba - any feedback?

I have been searching www.tripadvisor.com for hotel reviews in aruba..they have alot of good things about all the resorts/hotels....lots of reviews....Check it out..but of course take it with a grain of salt. I've noticed many of the 'bad' reviews are from seasoned travelers who think everything should be 5 star ya know?

Re: Renaissance in Aruba - any feedback?

We stayed at Marriot which I LOVED and we will stay out the next time we go. I also really liked the Hyatt and Radisson. The all-inclusive Allegro seemed like a good cheaper option.

I wsa not a fan of the Holiday Inn or the Wyndham.

ETA - The Renaissance is actually a very hip hotel and we liked it. They had the best Casino and very hip lounges and restauratns. Only issue i had with it was that it was in the middle of downtown so while you are in the heart of the city, you have to take taxi's to most of the restaurants.....

Thanks for all the feedback! I kinda like that it is in the town, but still has a beach. Now I just have to tell FH about it - hehe
