You're young! branch out before you get stuck in a rut with no transferable skills , like me.

I definitely agree with what Tourist said, Michi ( but I've prob. told you this already.. lol)
But esp I DITTO the part where you are young and should make the change b/f you are stuck in a rut.. now is your time to make a move, you have nothing to lose really and everything to gain . I know that commuting kinda stinks, but venturing into NYC might open up a lot of doors for you...and on average, the $$ is definitely better in Manhattan.

OOOH the FBI. That would be cool. I always wanted to work in Forensics but I could never take all those science classes lol.

Re: omg i need a new job!!!
same here. So i guess I am stuck with my current job for now until I decide what I am going to do....I just started a new position in the same company and its pretty cool but im not sure if its where I want to stay....I have another interview tomorrow with another department, so I guess I will have to see what happens.

Publishing and stuff like that is all about paying your dues and working your way up - so the wise Felicia is correct (not exactly a surprise) -- the younger you are when you start the more you can pay your dues and start climbing the ladder.Welcome New Vendors
