you always crack me up. I totally understand its just frustrating. I stopped telling her my wedding plans but she has enough time between my wedding and hers to still cop everything. yes she will look stupid and yes most people will notice but it will still drive me crazy!! You put so much time and effort and thought into your wedding to make it your own and its frustrating.

I would be fuming - that really does suck.

But Deb is right.

I think if you let her get to you, she WINS. You are above it - YOU WIN, you are first, you are going to have a better wedding. Thats all there is to it.

Please don't tell me this *friend* is in your wedding party!!!!

Totally understand...

For me it's still annoying when your wedding comes first because the fact remains that she's copying! You're right, you work so hard to come up with the idea and further to make the idea into a reality and then someone swoops in and copies. What I hate more is that we are all so excited about our ideas so we share - more to just be able to tell someone what we are doing - and next thing you know you are explaining how to do it because they want to. That kills me. I show someone something I made and next thing they are asking me for tips so they can copy - and not just the idea - the whole freakin thing!

Sorry for the rant - but you have my sympathy.

Well, you are a better woman than I would have been. My immediate comment would have been 'Since I have picked red as the color for my girls dresses, do you plan on having an original thought or are you just going to try and duplicate my entire wedding?'
