I don't knwo anything about it, but DH and I stayed at the RIU Naiboa in DR a couple of years ago. We stayed at the cheapest one in the complex, so the buffets were ok at best, but the place was beautiful! We met people that stayed in the 6 star part and they said the food was awesome. Even though our restaurants weren't the greates, we never went hungry and we had a blast.
