I have only used mine for dessert. I love this Chocolate Fondue I serve it with pound cake slices, strawberries, banannas and macaroons. It is so yummy. You could also do a cheese fondue served with bread or a hot pot. As far preparation goes, I would follow the instructions that came with your pot.

Mmmm...I just went to a fondue party last night. Everything was so delicous!

There was a cheese course (with bread and veggies), a broth course (it was like an herbed broth, for cooking small pieces of meat and chicken) and a chocolate course (with pound cake, bananas, strawberries, and marshmallows). YUM!!!

Hmmm...I suppose I could start by OPENING it to see if it came with instructions.... I'm really interested in the cheese fondue right now.... what kind of cheese do you use?
