Yep, sounds ridiculous
I started Emma on cereal at 5 months and veggies and fruits at 6 months.

Re: When do babys start eating table food?
Amber has been doing very small amounts of cereal since about three months (some mixed in w/her formula before bed). She's now six months old and she's doing about 1 to 1 1/2 homemade jars of food per day along w/a range of about 16 to 24 oz of formula per day (based on what she wants). Lately I've been noticing she's been giving up or losing interest in the formula early on in the feeding and looking for something else. I don't know if she's getting 'tired' of the brand or something. I try to mix it up w/the brands of formula (provided she doesn't have an issue with it) but it's not working
Anyone have suggestions??

I think you're asking when do they stop eating food that doesn't come in jars? Right?
Maiah started eating finger foods (crackers, soft fruits, teething biscuits) at about 8 months. She was eating finely cut meats, pasta, cut veggies (peas, carrots, green beans) before she turned a year old.
All babies are different though so you really need to read your baby's signs as to when they're ready.

Re: When do babys start eating table food?
My niece just turned 1 and eats table food, small cut up pieces of meat, pasta and veggies. But since she only has 4 teeth, she gets tired of chewing pretty fast so she still has some jarred food to supplement, and milk.
