We tipped:Photographer - $100
Videographer - $100
Assistant - $50

We did not tip them. According to Martha Stewart, if the photographer owns his or her own business you don't need to tip.However, I'm so thrilled with my pics that we are sending them a huge holiday basket of goodies to thank them.

i agree. if the photographer is the owner, then you dont have to tip. and that goes with all vendors.

All my vendors were the owners of the company but I tipped them anyway because they went above and beyond for us.

Do you tip them at the wedding or when u pic up your proofs, because how else would u know if they did a good job?

We tipped everyone the day of the wedding.

I tipped about 3/4 at the wedding and the rest when we saw the proofs ($100 a piece to 2 photogs, and 1 videog)
