I am trying to find the easiest way to do these. I was thinking was anyone using vellum paper that sticks to the holder (something like a label)

Re: for those of you doing votive placecards????
Watch for sales at Michael's. That was where I got mine, on sale for 3/1$, normal price is 99 cents each.I am doing them for my engagement party (75 max), as opposed to the wedding (175 MIN) due to cost.

Re: for those of you doing votive placecards????
we cut out the names once we printed them on paper, double side taped them and then tied them on (small hole punch on each side of paper to it didn't flap and posibly catch fire) using ribbon that matched our colors....i am neurotic so i sponge painted all the votives to make them forsted too....just b/c when you don't use vellum, they are too clear for my taste!!good luck!
