Repost from BHB: Attn: Netbride.com Brides!

I am thinking of ordering my dress from netbride.com since it is significantly cheaper. Although I have heard only good things, I am still a little hesitant. Can all the netbride.com brides share their experiences so I feel better? How long did it take to get your dresses too?

I didn't get my wedding dress from them - I should have. But I did get all 7 of my BM's dresses from them. They where great to work with and the dresses came early. I did have a problem with one of the BM dresses but that was not their fault and they had it corrected asap.

I got my bridesmaids dresses from them...and my friend did the same for her wedding. Both times the dresses came direct from the maker without incident.

I didnt buy my dress from them but if it was something they could have gotten me , I would have definitely done that.

I got my wedding dress from them and I couldn't have been happier.

They called me to verify something I had put in the order BEFORE they charged my card and ordered the dress. They called the designer for me with a question or two and called me back in a reasonable time. I saved about 500.00 from the salon prices. They only ship your order to someplace where someone can sign for it (I had mine sent to my office...) so it won't sit on your steps or something. The dress came in perfect condition with the tags on it and wrapped in paper and plastic.

All in all - I would DEFINITELY recommend them. I had no problems what-so-ever.

oh yea -- they promised me the dress in 12 -16 weeks. I got it in 10!!

I got my BM dresses from them.

Good point:
They were cheap
They were timely

Bad points:
- They overcharged me at first (But quickly fixed it) but I ended up embarassed at dinner when my credit card didnt work.
- They were very snippy regarding sending me a swatch of material. VERY snippy and VERY slow!

General about online buying:
SIZING!! We used the 'chart' given by the designer and the dresses were so BIG!! The dresses were $101 each (great price right) then you had to add $100 for alterations !! It was terrible!

My $.02

Would I recommend them?
For BM dresses sure, be careful on your sizing..
For Bride's dress? *shrug* I'm not so sure

I ordered 4 BM dresses from them...they came in PERFECT and 1 month before the committed due date. We used the designer's size chart and everything was perfect - the girls needed minimal alterations.

I then ordered a 5th BM dress about a month before our wedding - last minute addition...and paid the $50 expedite fee and the dress came in almost a week before their committed due date.

I - as well as my BM's - were very pleased with NetBride - their customer service was fabulous...the interactions via phone and email were prompt and very courteous.

I would - without a doubt - recommend them (and already have!).
