votive place cards at Villa Lombardi's

Is anyone doing votive place cards at villa Lombardi's?

We both like Villa Lombardi's but I did not have my 2 page list when we visited at the last minute a few weeks ago.

I was just reading posts about them not allowing votive place cards - which I really want to have. Is there a way around this since I do not want to put them on the tables - defeats the purpose of having guests see the table full of votives to pick out their name.

Thanks ladies.

P.S. Carlyle on the Green said the same thing, guests would have to carry the votive around during cocktail hour so it's best to put them on the tables and have paper place cards - but why would I make 2 sets of place cards?!?!
