a stupid question . . . re: stds and invites
if you send out STDS and someone tells you they have a trip booked and can't make your wedding, do you still invite them to your shower and send them a wedding invite anyway?

Re: a stupid question . . .
I don't know whether it is proper or not, but I would still send them an invitation. You never know, plans get changed and they may end up being available to attend.

I would still send it too... you never know, travel plans can change. And you also want to let the person know that you would like them to attend... even if you know they can't.

Re: a stupid question . . . re: stds and invites
you should still send them an invite. I had this happen with me and I am still sending an invite- also, after posting on this board and getting some feedback/

Re: a stupid question . . . re: stds and invites
I would still send them. Plus - she may want to come to the shower since she can't come to the wedding. That happened to me two years ago - I had a friend who's wedding was the night we were leaving for a cruise. I still went to her shower and gave her a gift.Welcome New Vendors
