another hair dying question..opinions needed!

i just dyed my hair on friday. i went darker. the top, (because it had highlights) is lighter and i could live with it, but id rather not.

do i really have to wait to dye it again? my hair is healthy and soft from the deep conditioner they give with the dye. what do you girls think?

Re: another hair dying question..opinions needed!

I think as long as you use the same color it should be okay and you are using a darker color which doesn't require peroxide or any other bleaching chemical.

ooh, I'm in the same boat! What color/brand did you use, if you don't mind me asking? I have naturally blonde hair, but currently have platinum/gold highlights. They're growing out now and the diff. colors are bugging me, so I was looking to dye my hair back to the normal color. My hair is REALLY long so I'm goign to have to dye it twice as well. TIA! :)

Re: another hair dying question..opinions needed!

If you are worried about the condition of your hair, you can use a semi-permanent colour. It does not need to be mixed with peroxide like permanent colour, so it will not damage your hair.

Redken Shades EQ has a fabulous line of semio-perm colour & most salons have it. Goldwell also has a good line of semi's

i used preference by loreal. some medium brown color. i actually love the color, but the blonde is peeking out and i want it all brown. i love their dye tho. and as i keep raving (wink) the conditioner is great. good luck!

Sorry I didn't know that you did it. Then I highly recommend Clairol Natural Instincts, Loreal Color Spa is also good.

The problem is not always damage. Especially with darker colours, there is a small risk of the colour getting muddy; that is why a semi-permanent is a bit safer.

Good Luck & let us know how it works
