This thread is for brides getting married in March, April and May.

So what's up ladies? I hope you are all on target with all the stuff you need to do.

I still don't have bridesmaids dresses yet, so that's the panic for this week (sigh)

Other than that not-so-minor detail, I guess we're pretty much on track. But there's so much left to do, and the countdown is on!

I am freaking out a bit....I have so much to do. I have off 4 days next week so I am hoping to get a good chunk of it done.....

Most of the reason why I have so much is because I have to wait for time to pass so I can make $. Its so hard to get things done!

I am freaking out a little.. I have had hiccups with both my invitations-- which I ordered early- then there were problems with them.. I sent them back a month and a half ago to the printer and I JUST got word yesterday that they will reprint them for me- although, they will not be doign this til Jan 3rd.. I need to get my envelopes out to the calligrapher and I want to mail out everything first week of Feb..

My wedding band- is just too big. I need to return it and seek out alternatives.

Other than that- I am doing a bunch of things that can be done a head of time. Things I hope to accomplish by the end of the year:
- Print out lables and stuff RD Invites
- Print brunch invites
- Have the calligrapher fill out the ketubah
- Book some dance lessons
- Make RD placecard holders
- Finsih making all my programs
- Begin working on vows/info for Cantor for ceremony
- Register for bedding
- Finalize shoe decision

Other ideas I have on getting organized:
- Make month long planners- at a glace with due dates, etc.
- Start putting together must take photo list
- Start thinking about wedding weekend itinierary
- Start thingking about what tasks to delegate to who

Am I forgetting anything? Is there a stressed out icon anywhere?

i still have to gather money from my BM and order their dresses. we picked out the dress like 2 months ago. i just haven't decided on a color and no one has gotten measured yet.

i need shoes, to pick out FH's wedding band, and i still have no idea who i'm going to get to do my hair/makeup.

oh yeah, and i need a second wedding dress (a simple one, probably find a BM dress or something) for my vegas wedding since I don't want to wear the big poofy one there.

theres a lot more though, but for now im going to temporarily forget about that all and just think that this is all i need to do.

alibali- I just posted a response to your post about bridesmaids colors (I copied my response below) and then looked up your profile and realized we are operating on a similar time frame. FH and I got engaged one day before you - and we're getting married 11 days after you...or 8 days before you, depending on whether you count your LV wedding or your LI wedding!

thought I was the last May 05 bride on earth still wavering about bridesmaids dresses!!! I think I finally have a color picked out but have no idea which dress to choose. It seems like the selection is endless. I thought this part was going to be easy! Nice to know someone else is out there agonizing!

i'm starting to freak. I haven't done anything for the wedding in weeks. I still don't have a honeymoon. Don't even know what I'm supposed to be doing.

I can't do things SO FAR ahead of time.....I'mnot one to obsess over things. - I like what I like and I pick it. - Done.

My biggest stress is losing 25 lbs in the next 5 months !!

Get shoes & Veil
Get moms dress
Get my dress altered
Get makeup & hair trial
finalize guest list
get invitations

Feb:
work with my florist
FH getting tuxes

Sometime in the next 5 months:
get favors
rings

and a bunch of other stuff I know Im forgetting right now

It's getting closer... and I can't wait to wear my dress, is that silly?

Everything is pretty much done except for invitations.... we are working on those!

i guess i don't have any big stuff to do...just organizing all the details. i'm taking the holidays off of planning, with the exception of making a big to do list. then i can start making way on the little stuff in Jan.

Confirm all final payments, schedule, pick up times, head count, etc with all vendors

Create and print programs

Mail out wedding invitations (by 2/11/05)

Schedule gown fittings

Finalize guestlist

Purchase Groom's gift

Complete seating arrangements

Prepare day-of emergency kit

Prepare wedding ceremony accessories-marriage license, ring pillow and flower
basket-for transport

Prepare wedding reception accessories-guest books, cake server, and toasting goblets-for transport

Schedule spa treatment for nails and waxing for day before

Shop & pack for honeymoon

Finalize menus

Obtain Marriage License

Order tuxedos

Plan wedding reception music: first dance song selection, parent dances, etc.

Prepare day-of timeline and give a copy to each vendor

Purchase MOG gown

we ordered our rings today and bought the GM gifts - cufflinks, and we got them for our fathers as well.

i have almost nada done!! All the major stuff yes but the lil stuff...NO! im mailing my invites monday...is that 2 late? My favor order is also going in monday and wedensday is my flower appt

April wedding. I am fine but ever now and then I get butterflies. I have the "details" left, gifts, hair/Makeup appts and rehersal dinner. My invites are going out Jan. 28th. It seems like alot more but I confirmed all my vendors and they reassured that lists and stuff I can't do until 1mth prior. So EXCITED!!!

I had a wedding meltdown this week. I have been having nightmares for MONTHS that its the day of the wedding and I forgot something- limos, my dress, a pastor, etc. lol I'm May 21 (we're date twins bluesashbride!)

So far I have done:

-BM dresses (and they came in WAY early!! How cool is that??)
-JBM dress (also in- I am LOVING Bridal Reflections in Massapequa right now- my dresses are 2 months early!!)
-FG dress
-My dress
-My veil
-Photographer
-Videographer
-DJ
-Tuxes (but NONE of the guys have gone for measurements yet, except my FH)
-Shoes (they are ordered anyways)
-Booked honeymoon resort

I think we are changing our ceremony from a church to the hall. I want to do it outside since we can't get married in the church I want right now anyways.

I still have to do:

-Finalize ceremony location (kind of important, lol)
-Limos (any suggestions on anyone to use??)
-String Quartet
-Flowers (appt. this week)
-Favors
-Invites
-BP gifts
-Book airfare

I KNOW I am forgetting stuff....what am I forgetting girls???
