Dining room update with pics, thanks ladies!

Ladies, thank you all for your advice and pics you posted. Here are some pics of our dining room before. It shows the new oil line, which is why this all started in the first place, we needed to hide it. And the closet that we closed up in the dining room (we broke down the wall from the closet in the office and made one huge walk-in closet).

I LOVE the cranberry color and am so glad I did. It took 2 coats of tinted primer & 3 coats of paint. The combo with the woodwork and ceiling looks fantastic. The crown molding is incredible!

Of course the pictures don't give the ceiling and walls justice, but here are some almost done. These were from after the 2nd coat of paint, but the next day we decided it needed a third.

WOW! it came out Gorgeous!!! (we had to do 4 coats of that color too... that was the only downfall, but it was well worth it!!)

I love it!! it looks so elegant! you must be soooo excited

Thanks all! We had both our families over on Christmas day and they loved it. It looks so much better in person. I am so happy with it.

We bought the paint at Lowe's (we used their brand for the rest of the house and really were happy with it). It is part of their Eddie Bauer collection, we bought flat for both the walls and ceiling.

Wall color = Cranberry
Ceiling color = Flax
