Sad news...Need prayers
FH cousin has a 14month old little girl who on Christmas Eve was rushed to the hospital because of blood in her urine. Doctors found an enormous cancerous growth on her little kidney and had to do emergency surgery and remove her whole kidney. Now they've found spots all over her tiny lungs. She's been in the hospital ever since. We are not very close to them but my heart goes out to them and I would give anything to help this little angel. I feel funny sending something to the hospital because FH mother is such a 'who do you think you are' type of person. I'd love to find out if there is someway to help but FH mother doesn't give much info. So I was hoping all you ladies wouldn't mind if it's within your religion of course to say a prayer for this little girl 'Isabella'! Thanks

Re: Sad news...Need prayers
I would love too if it weren't for my FMIL's attitude like who do I think I am. She always finds a way to make you feel stupid or small when you offer to help someone in FH step-fathers family. She truly drives me nuts. I mentioned something to her tonight about how hopefully they will be able to do some kind of transfusion or bone marrow thing, just something that the family can try to do for her and she stood blankly staring at me and rolling her eyes without rolling her eyes if you know what I mean. This is the woman who when my FH was stuck on the Cross Island because the transmission fell out of the car he was driving and one of her workers(they own a car service)called and didn't say anything about him being stuck to me...Well I said to FMIL why didn't she tell me what happened, FMIL looked at me with same stare and said,'Why would she say anything to you, who are you'! She's great for dropping horrible news on you and expecting you not to have any feelings about it or making you feel stupid if you do!! I hope you can understand what I mean.

Re: Sad news...Need prayers
Thank you all! Even though she's not mine and like I said we're not very close to her parents(not that we don't like them or anything, just we really never see them except at family gatherings) my heart really goes out to them and considering the relationship with my FMIL and her attitude I really didn't know how else I could help besides getting everyone to pray for her. So thanks soooo much again I knew I could count on the family at LIW. As soon as I get more info. I'll let you know!

Re: Sad news...Need prayers
I'm so sorry to hear about the terrible news. I most certainly put Isabella in my prayers. And if I was in your position I would send an anonomous gift to the little girl...maybe a stuffed animal or a little toy...it certainly could cheer her up a little and FH's mom wouldn't have to know who it came from.Welcome New Vendors
