Re: Repost: Do you think all black tuxes for groom and BP are ok?
My groomsmen are wearing all black - black pants, back jacket, black vest, black tie, white shirts ...Even my Hubby to be is ... he was being 'forced' to wear a white tie & vest by the tux shoppe and he called me all upset. So I told him to go in there and tell the guy to order black, it's your freakin wedding too! The tux guy thought I was going to take his side. My FH is a grown man, I think he can dress himself and decide what looks best on him.
Anyway, off on a tangent, sorry.
Yes, I think all black is very elegant, very classy, never goes out of style and in 30 years you will be HAPPY that they wore all black.

DH and his best men wore black tuxes with a regular black tie and no vest.We both prefer this look. It's classic.

I really don't like the colored vests and what not, and I LOVE all black on the guys, but is this ok? This is a picture of something I would want.
BE HONEST!
Ok i'll be honest.

Shouldn't it be something HE WOULD WANT? How does he feel about this?

Ok, I'll answer this:
My FH feels that he is not qualified to make this decision since he has never worn a tuxedo before and he asked me to pick what color the vests should be. Not every man has a problem with his FW making decisions for him sometimes. It's part of being in a relationship. Thanks for not answering the question I asked.

Our guys wore black tuxes, with black vests and ties with white shirts and my husband wore black with a very dark grey vest, black tie, white shirt. They all looked great. I liked the all black look too, but wanted something slightly different for the groom to make him stand out a bit. The dark grey was subtle and he liked it better for himself than the all black.

I think it is fine! I want my FH to wear all black, and I want the GMs to wear something different, but that is only my personal preference.

Now that I see the pic I feel better about it. I thought you meant black shirts, too! I like that all black (with the exception of the shirt of course!)

I think black is fine. What color are the girls wearing? Silver is also very nice if it goes with the color the girls are wearing. My BM are wearing Euro lilac and we are doing Silver vests.

Take it easy . . . I think that there are some guys that voice their opinions about the bm dresses the same as girls do about tuxedos. Honestly, there is nothing wrong with a man asking a woman for their opinion and advice- being a couple is all about being able to make decisions together as well as apart. So big deal, JT is letting Rachel pick the color of the tuxes- many brides on here have done this especially with our color champagne, which isn't always easy to coordinate with the men.
It is so unnecessary for you to make the comments you have made about feeling bad for JT and what not. It was a yes no question, not something to be attacked about . . .

Re: Repost: Do you think all black tuxes for groom and BP are ok?
Yup....this is what my DH and GM's wore. I liked it a lot....However, me DH insisted on wearing practical the same thing as the GM. In some pictures you can not tell who is the Groom. Have him do something alittle different. My DH had a black vest with a pattern on it but you could not see it and the GM had plain black. His flower was different too but it was just not enough for him to stand out. He didn't care.

If you can find a post where I say there is 'something wrong' with asking a woman for her opinion, then i'll agree with you.
