I just realized that my FH is going away for 2 weeks n Monday and I really wanted to get the photo/video done in Januray. SO on a whim I called DUET bc I almost def want them for photo. It turns out their promotional packages for 2004 END tomorrow and their will be new ones for 05 but prob at a higher price.I got an appointment with them tomorrow at 11am.... SO my questions are

What should I def aks them?
Have you seen their video's also, are they as good as photo?
Is there anything I should know before booking with them?
Is 4 grand an unreasonable budget for photo/video? (I want proofs, album and pics on cd....dont really care about parent albums)

Also if anyone could post of FM me with the details of their package and price I would be so grateful

i think they are very reasonable. we met with a few other photographers and booked duet.

if you ask, they'll show you videos.

i think parent albums come with most of their packages so if you don't need them, try to get something else in their place - like more pictures in your album, or getting engagement pictures taken.

i asked about it when i was there to sign the contract and he threw it in for free(i don't know if they normally charge for it or not, but the other places we went to did).

The casual day pics are $200 for the shoot, all the proofs and a blown up picture that your guests can sign at the reception.

They definately work with you on the packages. I wanted to make my parents albums myself so they took a HUGE chunk off the price. I also told them I didnt want the 20x24 and am exchanging that for a bunch of other pics. We have to schedule our casual day pics soon since I want to use them for my STDs.
