Any good recommendations on bands?

Just wondering if anyone has any recommendations on Wedding bands that are under 5k. I really want a band, but the quotes I'm getting are starting from $6500. My FH and I think that a band is just more fun. Let me know if you have a reputable one.

Thanks!

Re: Any good recommendations on bands?

We used the Mystic and I can't tell you how many people have told me that they were the best band they have ever heard! The Mystic is awesome, their website is themystic.com, and their price is reasonable. Go with the Mystic!

Sent you a FM. We had Niteflight! Not as well known here on the chat boards but they blew us away.

Re: Any good recommendations on bands?

I have been quoted from $6500 to $8500, so I was a little discouraged. But I got a lot of FM back with names of bands that were more in my range. But one guy told me that if I pay under 5k, he would recommend that I go for a DJ instead. I am looking for the band to play music from 40's to present, and even some waltzes and foxtrots (my parents are BIG ballroom dancers). I am going to keep looking! Thanks for all the recommendations!!
