I just got off of the phone with fortunoff..... they said that there was a problem with all of the dinnerware and it had to go back to the manufacturer.... something liek that

she said that the system should be updated tonight or tomorrow with the correct price (most likely the original price)
the problem will be solved

so don't worry

i JUST CHEcked mine and the price is still the same-- so was it a computer glitch or did prices really rise?

Yes, there is some computer glitch... I spoke with Fortunoff too because my china went from $89.95 to $150 and I FLIPPED OUT!!!!

Thank goodness it is a mistake!

Thanks for the update. I just checked mine and it went from 69.95 to 129.00. What a leap. Hope everything gets fixed.

I just called and they said it should be fixed by Wednesday - supposedly it's coming up as the manuf. price instead of their 'low' price (which is supposedly always 30% off the MSRP)....that's what the lady on the phone told me. Also, if for some reason anyone goes to the store to buy something off your registry, they'll adjust it at the register for them since they're aware of the mistake. :)
