04 Brides-I need referals!

Hi '04 brides!

I was wondering who you used, and if you have suggestions of who to contact, i would very much appreciate it! I need:

1- Hair person referal
-would prefer that they would travel to me day-of
-not too far out east (or queens)
-not too expensive

2-Makeup person
-not TOO expensive (for trial or day-of)
-travel to me

3-Seamstress
-HELPPPPPPPPPPPp- need someone ASAP

Please let me know if you know of anyone for these things, i need to get on this ASAP.
and if you could post or FM me with Prices/detilas, It would be much appreciated!

Check out Oksana for makeup...$80 for day of...
Check out Jenn from the Hair Genie...$100 for day of... but she might have raised her prices for 2005...

Both wonderful to work with...

For makeup, I used Dina from Beautiful Possibilities, and was very pleased:

Trial costs $20 - trials only on weekday evenings & weekends late in the afternoon.
$100 for the bride, $65 for everyone else.
Traveling fee $25 if travels outside of LI.

I also met w/ & really liked Denise D'Attolico of Angel Eyes Makeup:
$25 trial at her home in Huntington
$90 bride - $55 all else

She had a professional photog. light in her studio (which is in a GORGEOUS home) so that you could see your makeup in natural light and the light of the camera.

If you call Bonaventure in Garden City, their seamstress, Ines, was wonderful, and I'm sure quite busy, but hey, I trust her. Their #'s (516) 741-1080.
