re-post from BHB: Has anyone taken ballroom dancing?

If so, where did/do you take it?

How much was/is it?

Did/Do you like it?

Thanks!

Re: re-post from BHB: Has anyone taken ballroom dancing?

My FI actually proposed to me with a brochure for Arthur Ash dance lessons (he said he always wanted to learn how to dance before he got married) I am so excited about it because everythign about the day is all about feeling like a princess and prince and although I love to dance, I think ballroom dancing is just so completely elegant, but yea, the cost is always a problem! I think for our dance studio they are giving the first lesson for free in order for you to determine whether you want individual or group lessons. The other thing is that some schools/ community centers offer lessons as well, I think if you check the pennysaver they may offer some.
