hawaiian honeymoon quote......is this average???

I stopped by liberty travel today and was quoted $2699 per person for 9 nights.

This included:
airfare
car rental
4 nights in kauai Hyatt
5 nights in Maui Hyatt
NO flight between islands

Is this average??

That seems good to me! I don't think that is high compared to some quotes I received. I'm not staying at the Hyatt in Maui though, so I'm not too sure... Normally the Hyatt offers the 6th night free so I would look into that

That sounds like exactly our trip, 3 years ago. Only we stayed in Maui first and it included inter island flights.

Ours is a little higher as we are doing three islands and 11 nights.

I also changed our itinerary based on the hotels and the locations. Where are you staying?

Our total was $5200 (for two) this past October.

It included:

5 nights Maui Hyatt - Ocean View
5 nights Kauai Hyatt - Partial Ocean View, Daily Breakfast
Roundtrip Airfare
Flight between Islands
Car Rental

If I did it again, I wouldn't rent a car on Maui. We only used it once and could have taken a cab instead. On Kauai, we needed one. Also, I would have spent 4 nights on Kauai and 6 on Maui, although I like Kauai best. There was just more to do on Maui.
