Jack and Jill Shower????

I'm going to a Jack and Jill Shower...Do I need to get both a separate gift? Do the guys buy the guy a gift and girls buy the girl a gift?

Just buy something from the registry like you would any other shower. They registered together and it's for 'their' home.

I had a jack and jill bridal shower....we receive gifts as a unit not seperate. We were surpised ..what an interesting (very fun) shower

yes a Jack and Jill shower is when your FH stays. I think other men are invited to the shower as well. you get joint gifts and the Fiance stays.

What a great idea...I would love to do that considering it's his wedding too plus the gifts are for OUR house...but our families are too old school for that. They would prob say 'What's he doing here?' lol.

I'm thinking of doing it...one cause im not the center of attention type person so i would love to have hime go through the torture of opening gifts infront of everyone with me lol and two most of the guests will be from his side, so I feel it appropriate!

hey, a good idea for the male family members (like my brother) who does not have a partner. (he's divorced), but still wants to give a shower gift. We didn't do a Jack and Jill, but my brother gave me a nice oil and vinegar set with the cash gift he gave us at the wedding...in lieu of giving the shower gift, since my mom didn't invite him to my shower.
