DJ suggestions?

Did anyone get their dj or have any suggestions? I am clueless and want someone awesome that will get everyone pumped up.

Im using Joe E. from Tommy's Tunes... they have an excellent reputation.. he actually did the wedding of the girl that plays Meadow on the Sopranos... so I think we are in good hands!

I see everyone used a different DJ. I am looking for someone that does not do all the bells and whistles. We are looking for someone to just do the basics, Play music and just do introductions. We are not looking for someone with party hats, noise makes, lights, and a dancing crew!!! Any suggestions???

I saw Vinny from High Voltage in Levittown. He sounds perfect for what you are looking for and he is very reasobly priced. I would give him a call. I think he is recommended by liweddings too. gl

For the pumped up high enerfy - I saw In Tune Productions or Get in Tune, or whatever..they were the most pumped up high energy thing I have ever seen they have everyone on the floor daning at the bridal show!! so great! Variety was also good for that...

for the low key stuff, I'm really interested in vinny from high voltage.

my friend used tommy tunes for her daughters christening and they were great....he played alot of good music...stiff that EVERYONE wanted to listen to. he did alot fo fu games for the kids ande ven the adults that attened. i also heard that long island sound is good.

I was impressed with Ray from Variety Music. HEs totally good looking, classy and has a great voice - i think if the appointment goes well i want to book him. he told me that he keeps is toned down and just does the basic but can tailor it to fit your needs plus hes very inexpensive- you can get him for like $800
