Re: flat iron? when u have straight hair??

if your hair is fine and already pretty straight, go for a thin straightener (1' or 1.5') and use it on a low heat setting - and YES it will make it sleek and polished, especially if you use a shine spray.

it's still a flat iron, but the plates are only 1' or 1.5' instead of a larger 3' or 4' if you have longer, harder to manage hair.

Check out Wigo (it's a brand) - very reasonable. Not ceramic, but if your hair is already straight, you'll get the polish from the metal plates.

Re: flat iron? when u have straight hair??

I was thinking of getting one too. Has anyone tried the wet to dry irons? How are they?

Happy Birthday!
I've tried the wet to dry too (I have lots of thick, wavy hair) --- you have to be realllly careful with it - I ended up returning it because it's really easy to fry your hair with it. It kind of work, but you won't get the same smooth, silky results as drying then straightening. (I bought an expensive one too - it was about $80 after a 20% discount at Ulta)
