Funny LIW Story- MOB Dress

So.. my mom went yesterday to get another fitting for her dress for the wedding.. And the girl who helps her at the store- Alta Moda in Bellmore- said, is your daughter named Randi? And my mom was like, yes, why.. She told my mom that I have been sending a lot of business to their store from posting about Alta Moda on LIW.. How funny? I mean, I just respond to when people are looking for MOB dresses-- nothing excessive AT ALL!

My mom thinks I am crazy with this site- as I am sure everyone else's mothers.. but, it goes to show what other brides are saying really does drive traffic to stores, web site, etc.

Moral of this story- do not piss off a LIW bride and always give the best of service!

My daughter got me hooked on this site. I love it!

some people just don't understand and its up to you all to let them know this is your space and their not welcomed if they don't understand.

I've learned so much for you girls and the moms. Your ideas, planning, thoughts, everything was such an assest to me for marrying off my only daughter.

we went to alta moda on friday and my mom ordered her dress...she is working with kim too! she is awesome --so creative...it is going to be gorgeous...my mom is so excited!

i have to tell you that kim kept asking me who referred us and i said --oh a girl on liweddings --her name is randi! i think everyone thought i was nuts! my mom doesn't understand either...

When I'm online at home and my husband comes in the room, I click off of it so he doesn't see me on there...it's not like I'm planning a wedding or anything. He just doesn't get it and I don't want him to hassle me.

It's just fun!

Randi, your mom teaches at Oceanside, for how long. I graduated from Oceanside High School!!!!

She has been there since like 89/90 was in the middle school before that.. and is still there.. She teaches Child Development, Food & Nutrition, etc. They call it Family & Consumer Sciences..
