MY DRESS IS IN MODERN BRIDE MAGAZINE
I know I told a few of you that I bought my dress so unexpectedly & unplanned over a month ago. I went to an Eve of Milady trunk show to "try on" & "look" and found "THE DRESS"!
Since it was from her 2005 line, it was not released to the public yet. Since I never had a clue that I was buying, I had no camera.
Well, one of my BM who is also getting married (8/05) called to tell me that she saw new dresses advertised in Modern Bride from Eve of Milady and maybe it was her 2005 line!
WELL...THERE IT WAS! It is on a 2 page ad & it shows the back of the dress & the beautiful train! It is the Modern Bride magazine with Amber & Rob from survivor on the cover.
Now I finally have a picture of my dress!

It's funny--I almost bought that dress also at the trunk show--it's absolutely stunning in person!!! It was just a bit too much beading for me up top----but the train is just AMAZINGl. I ended up getting another one of the Eve's from the trunk show---#1375....haven't seen it advertised just yet. Here is a pic of the gown--I had scanned it in when I found it in Modern Bride. Congrats!!!

That is it! I love it so much. I ordered it this past November & it won't even be in until Fall of 2005.
If you like Eve of Milday, go to one of her trunk shows at Bridal Reflections! It does take almost 1 year for the dress to come in.

I made a post yesterday asking you girls to help me find a dress and the 2nd one is the one that i tried on .. I loveeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee it. i tried to look for it on the Eve of Milday Website but it was not there.. Where did you find that pic.

if you go to the modern bride website, they show all the eve of milady dresses that have been advertised in the magazine. it was the only site that i have ever found my eve dress on

Unfortunately...her Spring '05 line isn't advertised ANYWHERE online yet---believe me--I've been trying and trying and trying.....I was SO happy when she gave me the "pre-advertisment" at the factory today----see my posts to my dress order!!!

The website should be updated in the next month with the new line---they're being released towards the end of Jan....into the end of Feb.
And not all of the Spring '05 line is in the new Modern Bride mag.....my Eve ad is first going into Brides next edition---then not sure if it's going into MB. So excited though---
SoontobeMrsp06----Glad I could be of assistance in helping you find your dress.....if you'd like the "personal touch" from Eve herself--FM me and I will set you up with the woman who helped me (and gave me GREAT prices)......

I'm having it custom made through the designer---I went to the factory today (Clifton, NJ)---met with the sales rep (Millie) --and even got to meet and speak with Eve!!! They took all the exact measurements and it should be in by June...my first fitting will be in August. I got EVERYTHING from there---custom made veils (cathedral, fingertip, and blusher), shawl, bra (SO pretty and comfy), slip, tiara.....all at a FRACTION of the cost of the bridal salons!!! Best move I've made so far during this wedding planning!!!!

It should be in by June/early July---and my first fitting will be in August. I didn't know either--they don't do it on a regular basis.....but I lucked out!! I emailed the right woman and she went out of her way to make sure everything was perfect.....such an amazing woman!!!
