Place to take pictures
We are looking for a place to take our pictures on our wedding day. Other than Old Westbury Gardens, any recomendations? We have heard of the Roslyn Duck Pond, anyone know of it or any other recomendations.Thank you

Re: Place to take pictures
There are lots of places to take pictures, and for 11/13, you probably want to find someplace that has an indoors, just in case. The Vanderbilt Mansion and Old Westbury Gardens are options. If you are an alumni from Dowling, you can use the Vanderbilt Mansion there (Fortunoff Hall). There's EAB Plaza atrium (which can get crowded with brides), Bayard Cutting arboretum, CW Post arboretum (took my engagement pics there in October--very nice). The Holtsville ecology center is also nice and is indoors and free!Good Luck!

Re: Place to take pictures
Planting Fields Arboretum in Upper Brookville (Nassau County - near Northern Blvd)or
Bailey's Arboretum in Locust Valley (Nassau County - north shore near the water) Old Country Rd., to 107 North (Broadway-Hicksville,) go under Jericho Tpke. (25) stay to the left, turn right at Wheatley Rd. light, to end (church) turn right onto Oyster Bay Rd. and follow signs from this point, turning right onto Bayville Rd. Entrance on right, past Village (Lattingtown) sign. Or take the L.I.E. to Exit 41 North - go under Jericho Tpke. as above.
