Why no Green or Herbal Tea?

I'm new at this and trying to read as much as I can until I get to the doc but haven't read anything about that yet.
I had half a mug of decaf green tea this morning and some citrus decaf tea last night.

I only drank decaf tea, but don't remember anything being said about herbal.

I use to drink Green tea all the time and my doc recomended to stay off of all herbal sicne he feels there is not enough research on the effects of the herbs on a growing fetus, some of them are energy boosters, mood stimulators, etc ad he was just not comfortable giving me the OK.
