OMG - I feel sick to my stomache - need cheering up! I just saw my ex in a magazine :(

Why do I do this to myself :( Sorry if this is not the right spot to post, but I can't talk to anyone here. For some reason I decided to search for my ex's name online. Hes on often because he races but I didnt think I would find this.

I dated him for 15 years (since I was 12) He went to Vegas like 12/03 for a weekend and met some girl and I found out he cheated on me for months. He moved down to NC and we broke up... Hes a really good racer and races semipro - in the long magazine article he talks about meeting her and how much she does for him etc. How shes all he has..I cant help it... but I just want to break down and cry...

Just remember that he's the creep for cheating and good thing you got out of that relationship. Who knows if he'll do the same to his current girlfriend?

Once I even sent him an update to my sons website to his email, no words, just a link to my sons pictures (thought we could be friends after 15 years) and his new girlfriend was checking his email and went OFF on me and he cheated on me with her.. I just cant get over it... I forget about it and then for some reason I get curious and... get sad :( I wanted to marry him at one point.. Im his nephews godmother, his family literally lives around the block.. He told people we were getting married soon.. right before he cheated on me :(

First thing you have to remember is he cheated on you and second you are getting married to the love of your life s
so who cares about your ex and his gf she still got your leftovers

LOL thanks... I know what I have now is better. its just so hard to forget about him.. he was my first love.. i just wish I could hate him and I should - but I cant LOL

Amy... It's easy to get caught up in that kind of stuff and sort of look into the past but trust me the only thing that it'll do is make hold you back and bring you down. The past is the past for a reason. Remember that. If it was meant to be you, would have been with him and not your FH. If he cheated on you then good riddance that's his gf's prob now. Forget him and focus on what blessings lie ahead of you not what you left behind. Good Luck to you and keep your head up.

I had a child with my first love I was dating him since I was 13yrs old....we were together for almost 7 yrs and now he is married with a stepson he has a baby on the way he has his own business and he is so happy and at first it bothered me because I wanted him to be miserable because he left me and I had to take care of our daughter alone for all those years but now I am over it
hopefully you can get over as time goes on

yes, I kind of wish things went miserably for him LOL I know thats really mean, but hey - im being honest LOL Anyway, thanks girls - I just need to not search and not ask about him... I know I can do it - I just need to!!

I know how you feel.. it hurts to sometimes go into your past.. but you seem REALLY happy and you are planning one of the best times of your life.. try not to let this get you down!!!
