Help me plan my Bridal Party Thank You Dinner Menu
We are having 9-12 adults and 6-7 kids at our house for an early Saturday dinner in Early April. Here is what I was thinking of making for the menu:Appetizers
-Shrimp Cocktail
-Stuffed Mushrooms
-Grilled Vegetables with dipping sauce
Entrees
-Italian Meatballs
-Salsa Chicken
-Sausage & Peppers
-Chicken Fingers
Sides
-Bowtie Pasta
-Rice Pilaf
-Mexican Corn
-Broccoli with Cheese Sauce
Beverages
-Coffee and Hot Tea
-Ice Tea
-Red and White Wine
-Fruit Punch
Dessert
-Oatmeal or Chocolate Chip Cookies
-Pineapple Upside-Down Cake
-Ice cream
-Jello
What do you think of this menu? I tried to make something for everyone. Is it too much? Too little. Any other suggestions?

Does a thank you dinner come before the wedding usually? Or after?

Sounds great! I would just change the dessert menu....instead of Oatmeal OR Choc. Chip...why not BOTH?

Well, since you're having so many children, I would definetly recommend having more appetizers they would eat, like pigs in a blanket & some pizza bites.

What about mini burgers? Pizza scares me because we have a light colored rug and I envision sauce all over the floor. But mini burgers may be okay, right?

When I said pizza bites, I meant the little egg rolls that are stuffed with sauce & cheese. They're bite sized & we always serve them as appetizers when we have children over & they've never made a mess. They are sold frozen in most supermarkets, all you have to do is heat them in the oven & they're actually really good! I think that mini burgers might make a mess just because they aren't bite sized & kids might drop them while they're eating....
